This course will offer students to discover and explore further fashion trends expected in future; what is to be predicted, along with consideration of our current issues today and towards material sustainability. Students will gain insight towards how to collectively query and question what new trends are developing, what customer demands are and how these shift in merchandise wants and needs within a given retail market, to how to approach towards these adapting changes. Students are expected to consider and apply their prior knowledge from courses that have covered ethics and material sustainability and what changes of new trends might have an effect. Areas covered will also involve students researching towards how customer behaviors change in relation to various merchandising products/items and how these are made. How new technologies can impact how advanced trends can develop will also be covered.
