Students will learn the theoretical importance of fashion culture and its history. This will cover a broad timeline period and its influences towards various societies, from the 20th Century to present. Fashion is explored through its various journeys and its marks within an environment, along with its sense of place in time. Students will research, explore and gain theoretical knowledge of overall fashion culture, covering topics on:  gender, various fashion cultures, material diversity, and ethics, media representations, social influences on fashion history as well as fashion production and how this was displayed through time.

Where fashion culture is heading towards is also being questioned.
